Details worth exploring

Understand the fit before you choose.

The family includes VPL400, VPL600, VPL800, VPL1000, VPL1200 and VPL1400 travel-height configurations. The measured rise, platform dimensions, landing layout and selected controls all belong in the proposal. A family photograph cannot establish the exact unit you will receive.

Ask whether the proposed lift includes the optional backup power system. Have HomePro explain the selected configuration’s outage behavior, maintenance and emergency procedures at handover; do not assume every Highlander has the same equipment.

Tell HomePro what equipment you use and who may assist you. Review the occupied dimensions, combined load, approach and landing space against the selected lift. Do not assume that a general capacity label proves your equipment will fit.

Ask for an itemized proposal covering the lift configuration, preparation, electrical work where needed, doors and gates, installation, inspections and handover. Clarify responsibilities and exclusions before work starts.

Ask who to contact for service, what routine checks are required and which manufacturer and installation warranties apply. Keep the instructions supplied for your exact unit; this page is a buying guide, not operating or installation instructions.

Bring these to the conversation

  • Your measured level change
  • Photos of both landing areas
  • Mobility equipment dimensions
  • Who uses the route and how often
  • Questions about installation and service

A conversation starts the assessment; these details do not replace a site survey.
